Whole Wheat Pizza

For variety, add mushrooms, peppers, pineapple — anything that will excite your pizza (and your children).

Serves 3–4

Ingredients

1 large prepared pizza crust (whole wheat crust)

1 (26-ounce) jar tomato sauce

8 ounces shredded cooked chicken

12 ounces pineapple tidbits

1 (16-ounce) package shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

Garlic powder, oregano, and basil to taste

  1. Place pizza crust on a cookie sheet or pizza tray.

  2. Pour tomato sauce onto crust, add chicken and pineapple and sprinkle cheese on top.

  3. Add spices as desired.

  4. Bake at 450°F for 8 to 10 minutes.
