Easy Snap Peas

This is such an easy recipe to make — older kids can even make it themselves. The olive oil gives it a nice flavor, along with the heart-healthy benefits of the snap peas and the healthy fat.

Serves 6-8

Ingredients

1 pound fresh snap peas

3 to 4 tablespoons olive oil

2 teaspoons minced garlic

3 to 4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese

  1. Clean snap peas, and cut off the ends.

  2. Pour olive oil into a large skillet.

  3. On low heat, sauté garlic for 2 minutes.

  4. Add snap peas, stirring constantly.

  5. Sauté until snap peas are cooked, about 8 to 10 minutes.

  6. When ready to serve, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
