Stamping With Hot Glue Stencils

TRY IT WITH MULTIPLE STENCILS AND COLORS!

Creative Toolbox

2-ply paper towel

fabric, super muslin or mixed-media paper

hot glue stencil

fabric sprays or mixes of acrylic and water-based inks in a spray bottle

soft rubber brayer

acrylic paint

1-inch (2.5mm) foam brush or foam pouncer

STEP 1: Apply Paint

Apply fabric paint onto the flat side of the stencil using a foam brush or foam pouncer.

STEP 2: Print Painted Stencil

Place the painted stencil onto the surface and roll over the top of the stencil with a soft rubber brayer to make a print.

STEP 3: Move Stencil

Move the stencil onto another area of substrate until all paint is transferred from the stencil. Let it dry.
