Color Palettes

Here are some more colorful palettes to inspire your mark making. Find more ideas at the end of each section in the book.

Spray paint through a handmade hot glue stencil with fabric sprays on Osnaburg fabric. This color palette is inspired by autumn leaves: shades of green, copper and brown.

Paint swatches of color palettes in your art journal with a wide flat brush. Use a hand stamp to add a contrasting color. This is color palette is made of purple, pink, orange, yellow and forest green.

Spray acrylic ink through hot glue stencils on a piece of mixed-media paper. With a wide brush, paint in a background with acrylic paint. Doodle with dimensional paint and a white correction pen.

Create a color palette with swatches of acrylic paint, then repeat the color palette with scribbles of colored pencils.
