Front and Neck Edging
With smaller hook and RS facing, join yarn at bottom right corner of right front edge, ch 1, sc evenly across right front edge to top, work 3 sc in corner st, sc evenly across neck edge, and up side of neckband, work 3 sc in corner st, sc in BL of each st across last row of neckband, work 3 sc in corner st, sc evenly across side of Neckband along top of Left Front neck edge, 3 sc in next corner st, sc evenly down Left front to bottom edge. End off.
Sew one button 2 1/2" (6.5 cm) to the left of each buttonhole on right front. Sew plain button on WS of right front behind top button. With right front overlapping left front approx 2 1/2" (6.5 cm), sew remaining buttons on left front to corrrespond with buttonholes. Blocking is not recommended for this garment.
