Wash the fruit really well before slicing it—try to buy organic ingredients for this recipe. Make a large batch and keep it in the fridge. It’s delicious cold, too!
1 ginger or mint tea bag, with or without caffeine
2 orange slices, cut in half
1 lemon slice
1 sprig mint
3 to 5 thin slices peeled ginger (size is not important)
2 cups boiling water
Honey or sugar, if desired (use sugar if vegan)
• Combine all the ingredients in a large mug or teapot. Let steep for 15 minutes.
