CUTTING BIAS STRIPS
1. Cut the square (pages 34–37) in half diagonally and sew the 2 triangles together, using a ¼˝ seam.
2. Press the seam open and mark lines spaced the width you need to cut the bias strips. Cut along the first line about 5˝.
3. Offset by 1 line, pin, and sew into a tube. Continue cutting on the line you started. The tube will become one long bias strip.
