Spicy tomato sauce with ginger

If you like spicy sauces, be sure to try this recipe. Sweet and sour tomato sauce with ginger and garlic goes well with almost all dishes we like to eat with «ketchup». This sauce tastes like the sweet and sour, hot sauces seen in the supermarket. However, homemade sauce is much more natural, tastier and richer.

Ingredients:
- Peeled tomatoes 500g
- Sugar 60g
- Apple cider vinegar or grape vinegar 60 ml.
- Cumin powder 1 tsp.
- Coriander powder ½ tsp.
- Chili powder 1 tsp.
- Salt 1 tsp.
- Garlic (peeled) 2 cloves.
- Ginger (peeled) 15g
Method

Chop all ingredients into small pieces and send them to a saucepan with a thick bottom. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Chop with a blender and continue cooking over low heat 20-30 min. The mass should thicken. During cooking, the sauce must be stirred periodically.

Pour the sauce into sterilized jars, close with sterilized lids, cool, and store in the refrigerator.
