20. Mrs. Lovett Meat Pies

Sweeney Todd’s accomplice, Mrs. Lovett loves making the best meat pies, albeit they are stuffed with Sweeney’s victims.

Serving size: 4-6

Cooking time: 40 minutes

Ingredients:

• 1 potato, chopped
• ½ lb beef, minced
• ½ lb pork, minced
• 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
• 1 onion, chopped
• ¼ cup water
• ½ teaspoon mustard powder
• 1 teaspoon thyme
• ¼ teaspoon clove, ground
• Salt and pepper to taste
• ¼ teaspoon sage
• 16 ounces pie crust

Instructions:

Add potatoes and water to a pot and boil till soft.

Add beef, pork, onion, garlic, mustard, thyme, clove, sage, pepper, potato and salt to a saucepan and brown.

Add to a pie crust and cover with aluminum foil.

Prick the top and bake in a preheated 350 Fahrenheit oven for 30 minutes.

Slice and serve.
