22. Grindhouse Turkey

A movie where a kid is in love with a turkey but his father kills it. What follows isn’t for faint-hearted ones.

Serving size: 4-6

Cooking time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

• ¼ lb butter
• 1 teaspoon thyme, chopped
• 10 lb turkey
• 1 lemon, juiced and zested
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 1 lemon, halved
• 1 onion, quartered
• 1 tablespoon garlic, minced

Instructions:

Add butter to a bowl along with lemon juice, zest and thyme and mix.

Clean the turkey and add to a baking tray.

Stuff the cavity with salt and pepper, thyme, lemon, garlic and onion.

Apply the butter mixture all over the turkey.

Roast in a preheated 350 Fahrenheit oven for 3 hours.

Slice and serve.
