Stacked Table Set

Finished block: 12˝ × 12˝ Finished table runner: 50˝ × 12˝ Finished place mat: 16˝ × 12˝

50˝ × 12˝ (table runner) and 16˝ × 12˝ (place mat), designed and made by Tricia Maloney

Time and time again, I find myself working with classic red, white, and black—one of my all-time favorite color combinations. However, this table runner and matching place mat set would look great in any color combination or theme ... so go ahead and make more than one. A print jelly roll and a white jelly roll will yield several table runners and matching place mats. Have fun playing with your fabric to make coordinating yet different sets.

Layer, quilt, and bind as desired.

Instead of buying fabric for the binding, use leftover jelly roll strips. If you like a binding narrower than 2½˝, just trim the strips down to the desired width.
