Here are a few highly effective habits that you should consider developing now stepping into this new authority:
1. Having A Means To Record Your Ideas At All Times - It is important that you keep by your side a notebook, phone or some sort of recording device to capture your ideas. There is no telling when you will have a best-selling book idea come up that could make hundreds of thousands. But if you don’t record the idea, then that thought could be gone forever and your best-selling book along with it.
2. Constant Innovation - You should involve yourself in constant stimulation of the brain to come up with good book ideas. This means involving yourself in some sort of creative activity such as going outside to the beach, riding a bike, running around the neighborhood, going to the art museum.
3. Disciplined Writers - This is one of the most important habits you should develop among anything else mentioned in this book. The average writing block is 2 hours and when you’re writing for that block of time don’t let anything else distract your writing. This will serve as your money maker in the long run and the more discipline you get at this the more money you will make.
4. Focus On Conveying Your Message - Highly paid authors accumulate royalties because they are more focused on results. How will my story change and impact someone else life? How will my message add value to someone else? These are questions you should be asking yourself throughout the process of writing your book. If you can focus on value and conveying your story in your authentic voice then you can become a highly paid author
5. Read Voraciously - Highly Paid Authors are constantly searching for new ideas and concepts to write about in their own words and experience. Just by reading you are opening yourself up to a world of untapped possibilities. Think of reading as your blue print to a million book ideas and suggestive content.
6. Write! - Even more than focused and disciplined writing, at the end of the day they are writers. They are continuously seeking to craft their writing and their voice inside of their books. With that said 100% of your time should be focused on writing and not so much editing. Write, Write, Write.
7. Relationship Orientated - All writers are building relationships and networking with other authors to get fresh ideas and insight on different topics. For example, non-fiction writers may build relationships with Fiction writers to learn to convey their story better. Where Fiction writers may build relationships with Non-Fiction writers to learn to get the facts straight.
If you can maintain these habits and disciplines daily, they aren’t hard. Then, you can become a highly paid author in just a matter of days. Now, we say matter of days but our intention isn’t to give you the impression that you will have overnight success. What we mean is you have now made a decision within yourself to choose a different path and by doing that there is no such thing as becoming. You already are who you want to be and it is now manifesting in its physical form. Make sense?
