As someone who writes mostly about flowers, it took a while to get my head around the idea of my next book being about wellbeing and mental health. Being so personal, it’s been emotional and at times very difficult to write. But at the same time, it’s been enormously therapeutic and I’ve absolutely loved writing it. If it helps just one person, I will be thrilled and my mission will be accomplished! I hope you enjoy it.

I would like to say a huge thank-you to all the people who helped and supported me, holding my hand along the way:

Kate Corbett-Winder. Mama, thank you, again, for basically co-writing this with me! For all your ideas, edits and additions, your patience and advice. Your never-ending encouragement love and support; knowing that you are always there keeps me going.

Clare Hulton for your continuing belief and encouragement in me. Thank you for taking me to the wonderful Bluebird Team and supporting me the whole way through this project.

Nicole Croft, Chloe Hodgson and Susannah Taylor for letting me pick your brains on all things wellness and nature.

Carole. Thank you for taking me on board! I feel so honoured to be one of your authors and it’s been an utter joy working with you. Thank you for being so encouraging and excited about this from day one.

Martha. My dream editor! You’ve made writing this book so enjoyable. Your positivity and optimism throughout the whole process has been incredible. You’ve even managed to make doing edits enjoyable!

Jess Duffy, Sian Gardener and Jodie Mullish for all your help promoting and supporting the launch of the book.

Nina Fuga for your utterly beautiful illustrations – I’ve loved your creations from the moment I saw them and feel so lucky to have you as part of this book.

Chaz. My love. Thank you for always encouraging me and telling me I can do it. For spurring me on and always being there.
