how to draw a persian cat

Steps: 11

Difficulty: dotline1.png

This Persian cat has striking features: fluffy fur, heavy brow, flat face (also called “peke- faced”), and round eyes. Silver Persian cats have white hairs tipped with black, creating a silver-gray coat. Their long fur requires plenty of combing and cleaning.

1 Draw the two outside curves of each eye; then draw the pupil and corner of each eye.

2 Draw the triangle of the nose, and add the interior details. Complete the downward-curving muzzle and lower lip.

3 Add the ears. The inside of each ear edge begins above the pupil and is about the height of the distance from the nose to the bottom of the muzzle.

4 Sketch the main shape of the head, and shade at the base of the ears.
