how to draw a hermit crab

Steps: 11

Difficulty: dotline.png

To create the hermit crab, youll draw different sizes and shapes of tube sections. Then you’ll shade the crab darker where the leg sections attach and lighter at the sides to make it look round.

1 Draw a V that opens to the right.

2 Add curving lines that stretch across the V and then add two longer ones that curve to the right and form a point.

10 To add the antennae, pencil in long double curves with curved stripes. The antennules, or smaller antennae, are each made of three thin sections.

11 Complete the shell around the crab’s body and then shade the body section by section with down strokes as well as side-to-side ones. Add a shadow under the crab.
