Friends and Family

1. Lewis’s mother is called Carmen, but prefers to be known as Brenda which is her middle name.
2. His father’s name is Anthony.
3. Lewis has two half-sisters, Nicola and Samantha.
4. He also has a half-brother called Nicolas.
5. Nicolas proves that disability is not a barrier to achieving dreams - despite having cerebral palsy, he races for Total Control Racing, with his debut being in the 2011 Renault Clio Cup.
6. Anthony agreed to support Lewis throughout his racing career on the condition Lewis studied hard at school.
7. This was a difficult thing to do, as Anthony was at one point made redundant from his job in IT. However he stayed true to his word and often took up to three contracts at a time to continue funding Lewis.
8. Lewis started dating Nicole Scherzinger in November 2007.
9. She is the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls.
10. The song I Think I’m in Love by the Pussycat Dolls was written about Lewis by Nicole.
