Paula Guran is an editor, reviewer, and typesetter. In an earlier life she produced weekly email newsletter DarkEcho (winning two Stokers, an IHG award, and a World Fantasy Award nomination), edited magazine Horror Garage (earning another IHG and a second World Fantasy nomination), and has contributed reviews, interviews, and articles to numerous professional publications.
This is, if she’s counted correctly, the forty-seventh anthology Guran has edited. After more than a dozen years of full-time editing, she is now freelancing.
Guran has four fabulous grandchildren she would be happy to tell you about.
She still lives in Akron, Ohio, but moved from the crumbling family manse into a condominium apartment in 2018 with her faithful cat Nala.
