1 Heat gas or charcoal grill. Cut 30 x 18-inch sheet of heavy-duty foil. In small microwavable bowl, place butter, chives and garlic salt. Microwave uncovered on High 15 to 20 seconds or until butter is melted.
2 Brush butter mixture over each ear of corn. Place corn on center of foil. Pour any remaining butter mixture over corn. Sprinkle with cheese. Bring 2 sides of foil up over corn so edges meet. Seal edges, making tight ½-inch fold; fold again, allowing space for heat circulation and expansion. Fold other sides to seal.
3 Place packet on grill over low heat. Cover grill; cook 12 to 18 minutes, rotating packet ½ turn after every 6 minutes, until corn is tender. To serve, cut large X across top of packet; carefully fold back foil to allow steam to escape.
