80mm curved glass. The opaque is ballistic steel reinforced by German Twaron rubberized laminates. Silicon Carbide Ceramic tile armor, it weighs a third of 3/4″ steel plate. This armor defeats 7.62 Nato M993 (910 meters per second) tungsten core bullets. .50 caliber Browning Machine Gun, AK-47 Kalashnikov, the roof and floor are armored, also protects from heavy fragments thrown by improvised explosive devices (IED’s).
