Cauliflower Toast

If you’re following a low-carb plan, cauliflower toast is a great way to replace any bread you may have been eating. It’s easy to make, and you can save the leftovers in the refrigerator for several days.

INGREDIENTS | MAKES 6 SLICES

1 medium cauliflower head, chopped or grated

1 large egg

1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon garlic salt

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Microwave cauliflower in a large bowl 8–10 minutes.

2. Rinse and drain cauliflower and add egg, cheese, garlic salt, and pepper, mixing well.

3. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, divide cauliflower mix into 6 portions and form into your desired shape, spreading the mixture until it is about the size of a small piece of bread, roughly 1/2" thick.

4. Bake 15–20 minutes until golden brown.

5. Remove from baking sheet and serve with whatever toppings you enjoy.
