This recipe kicks up the intensity of your traditional turkey burger with the addition of sriracha, everyone’s favorite hot sauce.

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 4
4 turkey burger patties
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
4 slices pepper jack cheese
2 medium avocados, diced
1/2 medium onion, peeled and chopped
2 cloves garlic, pressed
3 tablespoons lime juice
3 tablespoons sriracha or other hot sauce
1. Season burgers with salt and pepper and cook on a preheated grill or grill pan over high heat 5–6 minutes per side or until fully cooked. Add cheese to burgers and cover during last minute of cook time to melt.
2. In a medium bowl, mash together avocado, onion, garlic, and lime juice, mixing until smooth.
3. Top each burger with avocado spread and sriracha and serve.
