Argentinian-Style Grilled Sirloin

A delicious twist on a traditional sirloin, this minimalist recipe allows the flavor of the steak to come through while providing a mild kick from the fresh seasonings.

2 tablespoons water

1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves

1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

2 (4-ounce) sirloin steaks

1. In a medium bowl, combine water, parsley, cilantro, lemon juice, oil, salt, black pepper, and pepper flakes. Mix well.

2. Place steak on grill rack or skillet over medium-high heat and cook about 4 minutes per side.

3. Transfer steak to cutting board and let stand 10 minutes. Thinly slice steaks across the grain. Top with parsley and cilantro mixture before serving.
