Save Your Gut with Homemade Bars

To save calories, many popular protein bars on the market use various sugar alcohols and other additives to add flavor without using actual sugar. It’s very common for these ingredients to cause digestive pain and cramping. If you’ve ever eaten a protein bar and noticed discomfort, there’s a good chance it was the sugar alcohols, not the protein itself.
