Low-Fat Brownies

By replacing any oil, whole eggs, or butter with a can of black beans, this recipe provides a high-fiber, low-fat treat. It’s not exactly low on calories, but it’s perfect for high-carb days when fat needs to stay low.

INGREDIENTS | MAKES 20 BROWNIES

1 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed

1 (19-ounce) box of your favorite brownie mix

1. Blend beans in a food processor until smooth.

2. Combine with package of brownie mix, transfer to an oiled 10" × 13" baking dish, and bake according to package directions.
