Acknowledgments
Thank you, dear reader, for coming along on Raith and Harrow’s journey with me. This story means so much to me, and I’m so grateful to be able to share it with you.
The first inspiration for this book came when I was driving across Canada. Somewhere along the Trans-Canada highway in Ontario, there is a very small community called Raith with a single road sign that somehow caught my eye as I drove past. My immediate thought was, That’s my next hero’s name!
The next book will be about Malaikah and her destiny to return to her homeland. I loved her character from the moment she sauntered onto the page, so I can’t wait to dive into her head and bring you along with me!
A lot of people were involved in making this story into what it is today, but first and foremost, I have to thank my editor, Molly Majumder. When we first started working on this together, I can honestly say I had no idea we would end up where we did! It’s been a wild ride, and I’m so grateful and excited for what’s to come. Thank you for helping me build my vision for this world.
I also want to express my gratitude to the entire Entangled/Red Tower team, including Liz, Bree, Curtis, Meredith, Stacy, Jessica, Toni, and everyone else who worked on Sanctuary. Also Rae, for your assistance with inclusive language and the sensitive and authentic portrayal of all my characters. Thank you all so much, it’s been an absolute joy working with you. The cover and map and all the little details that went into this book are beyond beautiful, and I can and will stare at them for hours.
As always, thanks to my husband Orion for supporting my creative endeavors, listening to me rant about my characters (and life in general), and helping me brainstorm my way out of any plot hole. I feel like I can do anything when you believe in me!
And last but certainly not least, I want to give a huge shout-out to every one of my Patrons, readers, mailing-list subscribers, social-media followers, and fellow romance lovers. Your support, passion, and general awesomeness is what makes this community such a special one to be part of. I hope one day we take over the world, because I know we’ll make it a better place!
xx Aurora
