Saturn

Frankly, the less often Saturn is triggered in your birth chart, the easier life usually is. Mercury ‘reversing’ over your Saturn (or even opposite it or squaring it) isn’t necessarily going to be the most fun you can have. Saturn is like a sleeping pain in the neck – better not to prod it and wake it up if you can possibly avoid it. Moreover, the inference is that if Mercury is ‘reversing’ over your Saturn, you’re getting a double dose of whatever lessons Saturn is trying to teach you. This is great if you’re keen to learn all the lessons you can during this lifetime. But if all you want is a break, then this cycle can be a pest because you’re being asked to face something possibly slightly unpleasant for a second and then a third time.

Working with this transit

To get the most out of this time, be rigorous with yourself and admit it if you need to work hard at something. Learn a lesson you refused to learn before.
