WORCESTER PUDDING

Ingredients:

2 large eggs

4 oz butter

4 oz white caster sugar

4 oz white self-raising flour

½ pint milk

 

 

Directions:

Grease shallow baking dish (1 pint size). Set (fan) oven to 180 degrees.

Beat together butter and sugar until pale and creamy. Beat eggs and whisk into butter and sugar mix. Whisk until mixture is smooth. Fold in flour. Carefully add milk and mix gently.

Pour mixture into prepared baking dish and put in oven on middle shelf. Cook for approximately 25–30 minutes or until light brown on top and just firm to the touch.

Serve immediately with cream if desired.
