THIS BOOK IS A COMPILATION of my first stories. I did not want to despise them and abandon them on a hard disk drive, relegated to oblivion. All these stories I wrote when I was very young. When I was in the early years of the Computing and Computer Science Institute. Every night I smoked a good “Lucky Strike” and at the side of this a bottle of beer “Corona” that I took from the very North Pole: the fridge.
However, let’s get back to the subject of writing these stories. At eighteen years old, I met who is, until today, my girlfriend. I always wanted to give her my heart in white leaves. All I felt was soon compensated. She could hold in her hands what I felt. It all came up then. The spring, the autumns had meaning for me now.
I love her for reading my texts, for correcting me in fiction and in real life. I have nothing more to say that I would like to marry her. In these moments, I write line number forty-seven. If you read this, Alice... I want you to know that my heart beats terrified, because the feeling has not changed, remains intact. You are still my inspiring muse, my princess.
She loved all poems that I wrote her. And I wanted her to read books: novels, short stories, but not, she loved the poems. She was not the kind of person who reads a whole novel or long stories. Her mind always was analytical, practical. She read Chemistry books, memorized Law books very fast, which for me was impossible for me, even today. They did not fancy me. What’s more, I never remember the names of the streets, avenues or whatever, and I was lousy in Chemistry.
What I want to say is that she has a lot of love for books that can bring something to her academic life instead of having fun, reading while waiting in the queue of the cashier at the supermarket or in the dentist´s office. She preferred to read those kinds of books.
I copied my six stories and other poems into a text editor, then proceeded to delete my blog. From that day, I write for myself. And I saved many stories. Now that I have all the in the world I decided to edit and publish them. I know it has been a long time. But I invite to read them. I know they will accompany you wherever you go. I hope you like them.
These tales, as you yourself could see, they do not deserve to forgotten. Read, I invite you. You will enjoy your reading time in the free times. I know. They are my fears, the fears, and questions that every teen has in his deteriorated mind for this world when he begins to awaken to reality. I hope you like them.
It’s the first volume.
Welcome.
