The below diagram is a simplified guide to this section.

  1. Calculate total calories needed – This is vital. It’s a simple equation, if you are consuming more energy (calories) than you expend, then you will put on weight.
  2. Calculate macros – This is the nuts and bolts, how many grams of carbs, fats and proteins do you need?
  3. Monitor / optimize – One size does not fit all. You’ll learn how to tailor the diet to your body and needs.
