Lance Hawvermale published his first books under the pseudonym of Erin O’Rourke. Since then, his poetry and fiction have garnered numerous awards.
Hawvermale is an alumnus of AmeriCorps. He has worked as a college professor, an editor, and a youth counselor. He lives in Texas with his family and their honey bees.
