Write It Down!

What interests you? What is your passion? Write down random thoughts as fast as you can. Carry a notebook; keep paper by the bed, a dry erase board by the shower, scrap paper in the car, notes on your phone. Just keep collecting your random scribbles on anything you can write on. The notes might not make sense individually, but as they come together, you’ll see a direction.

“As an earring keeps a hole that would otherwise close up, the practice of daily writing preserves an opening.” — Pam Thompson, writer, on her journal

OR to write your notes faster, use symbols instead of words. Ever tried to use hobo signs?

(anything goes)
