Day 2

Would you like to hear more about my vacation? I bet you would. Well, it was wonderful. I had a great time during those thirty days, and I enjoyed them to the fullest.

First of all, I went to the Warped Forest. Yes, the Warped Forest. You might be wondering, “Why would he return to the very place where his father was imprisoned for many years?” I know it sounds a bit crazy and strange, but I had to see the place with my own eyes.

I had to get some closure, I guess. I went to the abandoned Bastion and took a look around. The place was the same as when we last visited it, but there was no one in sight. After the fall of the Triad Bastion, the old Bastions were all abandoned. Thankfully, those places will no longer serve as prisons to innocent Piglins and the like.

After taking a quick tour around the Warped Forest and facing my fears, I decided to go back to a cool place – the Overworld. I promised Beatriz and Johansson that I’d pay them a visit and that’s exactly what I did. I spent two weeks in the Overworld with them.

Of course, I did my best not to interfere with their work. I would spend the day with them at their lab, just watching them work on the 2.0 Electricity Generator and talking about all the advancements they had made on the machine. It was great!

Speaking of which, the Electricity Generator should be completed very, very soon. When I left their lab, Johansson and Beatriz were about to finish working on the machine. They said the new generator would revolutionize everything we had ever seen before in terms of energy and electricity.

Their main goal was to provide an infinite supply of energy through a safe machine. Emphasis on “safe,” because no one wants it to be used for evil means like the previous version. Johansson and Beatriz assured me that the new version would be completely fail-proof and impossible to hack into. I can’t wait to see the final result.

Afterwards, I left their lab and went out to explore the Overworld. Yes, the Overworld. I had already spent a large portion of my life – pretty much the entirety of it – inside the Nether. It was time I went out and visited other places.

Johansson and Beatriz recommended some tourist attractions near Minerland. Unfortunately, they couldn’t come with me because of their deadline, but they provided me with a handy map with all the coordinates and names. The first place I visited was a beautiful beach.

The ocean in the Overworld never ceases to amaze me. Water is such a strange and foreign concept to us Piglins. I had never seen something liquid like lava but cool and wet. I went for a swim but didn’t go too far from the shore. I still need to practice my swimming skills.

Later, I went to a Desert Temple in the middle of a Desert, which also functioned as an attraction for the locals. The humans from Minerland had turned the temple into a museum of sorts, and I took some time off to see it for myself.

Inside, the museum held some of the human paintings and other artifacts from their people. It was quite enjoyable and interesting. I wish we had something similar in the Nether. Perhaps I could bring that idea and share it with my father.

Before going home, I had to make one final stop in Minerland. I had to talk to Mayor Robert and inform him of my father’s invitation. Dad invited Mayor Robert for a visit, so they could further discuss the details of the Overworld-Nether partnership.

Mayor Robert seemed really happy with the invite, and I couldn’t wait to see what both mayors had in mind for the long-term cooperation of their worlds. A new future lies ahead for all of us.

Eventually, it was time to return. I made my way back to the Nether Portal and entered the Nether. Once in Crimson City, I visited my father in the Town Hall. He was glad to see me back.

I was now ready to get back to work and continue my mission to protect Crimson City and bring justice to our citizens.
