This classic French dish with buttery sautéed mushrooms will take your steak to the next level. Prepare it while the steak is cooking.
Melt the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the mushrooms and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened a bit, 4 to 5 minutes. Add the chives, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper and cook, stirring, for about 2 minutes more. Adjust the seasonings if needed.
Notes
Can be garnished with chopped fresh parsley.

Celery isn’t a veggie that most people think about sautéing; however, cooking it removes some of the bitter taste. Plus, it softens it up a bit without losing all the crunch. You can add it to a salad or soup or a healthy low-carb stir-fry. I like to season it with thyme to enhance the flavor.
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the oil, then add the celery, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the celery is crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.
Notes
Chopped onions can be added for additional flavor.
