Whether you serve it hot or cold, this is one of the tastiest and healthiest drinks on the planet, not to mention simple to make. Turmeric and ginger contain inflammation-fighting compounds. Drink this every day and your aches and pains may go away!

Combine the milk, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, and sweetener, if desired, in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Top with additional cinnamon, if desired.

Notes

Make sure you include the black pepper because without it, your body can’t absorb the turmeric as well.

Does a cocoa with almond milk and stevia compare with the sinfully delicious regular high-sugar and dairy version? And more than taste, does drinking it stir up images of cozy nights in front of the fire and building snowmen? The answers: yes and yes!

  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1½ tablespoons monkfruit/erythritol granular sweetener, or to taste
  • 2 cups Almond Milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Unsweetened whipped cream (optional), for serving

Mix the cocoa and sweetener in a small bowl.

In a small saucepan, whisk together the almond milk and the cocoa mixture. Heat over medium-high heat, stirring, for 5 to 7 minutes, until the cocoa is steaming and the desired temperature is reached.

Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla.

Divide between two mugs. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
