HELLO DOLLIES

Maw Maw CLARIS BOND was born, raised, and lived her life in Caddo, Alabama. Grandson CHRISTOPHER PERRY HAMPTON (Mount Juliet, Tennessee) remembers her as never having a harsh word for anyone and always being so patient, especially with them as children. He shares, “Maw Maw used to send us birthday cards with ten dollars in them. She was always smiling and seemed so proud of us. When I think of her, I see her smiling. Maw Maw always worked hard with all of the stuff that had to be done with my Paw Paw to keep the farm going; she strained the milk and churned butter. And I remember my brother and me tagging along behind her down to the barn to milk the cows or to gather eggs.”
