Malted Milk Ball Dump Cake

MAKES 1 (9 × 13-INCH) CAKE

Roxanne’s daughter delights in eating malted milk balls. Imagine how thrilled she was when this recipe was developed, crossing a malted milk shake with her grandma’s old-fashioned chocolate cake. Smiles emerged all around the dinner table!

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9 × 13-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, pudding mix, and milk and mix until blended thoroughly; the mixture will be thick. Stir in the malted milk balls and the chocolate chips. Spoon into the prepared pan and level the top of the batter evenly.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the edges of the cake begin to pull away from the sides of the pan.

This is great served warm or at room temperature. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream dolloped on top if you like.
