Despite his public claims to support the Grove and his high ranking standing within the witch community, Alex has been feeding information to Ms. Josephine in exchange for information regarding his brother’s and niece’s general wellbeing. Is a double agent for the resistance. He tries to instill tolerance in his coven. Not all heed his message.

Astrid Anise Talbot

Status: Apprentice witch to the Red Oak Coven, future Witches’ Council member

Power: Healing

Daughter of Allister Talbot and Keeva Proctor-Talbot. Sister of Quinn Talbot. Bears the mark of inheritance and would have inherited her father’s magic when he died, had Quinn not stabbed his father with the Blade of Osiris. Astrid will not inherit her full power until her brother’s death. Though she was responsible for bringing her brother back from the dead, it remains unknown where her true loyalties lie, especially now that her brother is the only thing standing in the way of her having her father’s magic.

Shelby Nazari

Status: Neutral, Daughter of Bast

Class: Demi-god

Species: Feline/Human Hybrid

Shelby is an import/export expert utilized by both good and evil. Though her work is technically forbidden, the Grove leaves her be because she holds no affiliation and she is thousands of years old. She remains neutral in all things and sells her goods and services to the highest bidder, regardless of affiliation. Has a talent for finding dark objects and ancient texts regarding magic. Occasionally dabbles in the auctioning of souls.

Tate Castro

Status: Current employee of Shelby Nazari

Class: Shifter

Species: Feline/Demon hybrid

Tate Castro is a 450-year-old panther shifter who sold his soul for immortality. While Tate is not necessarily evil, like his employer, his loyalties are often for sale. Tate has a history with Mace, and they consider each other allies and occasional friends. Tate had a brief kiss with Kai, but their chance at romance was ruined by Kai’s love for Rhys and Tate’s kidnapping of Kai’s sister, Tristin.

Aaron Yi

Power: Ink Magic

Aaron is an artist and an apprentice in a magical tattoo shop. Highly gifted in ink magic, Aaron has the ability to manipulate his skin art and manifest it into reality. When Tristin attempts to tattoo Ember with the sigil of a god, Aaron warns her, telling her to run. He is seemingly a good guy, but it is much too early to tell.

The Triplets

Lola Vaughan and Keegan and Kellan Kavanagh make up a clique known at Belle Haven High School as the triplets. Keegan and Kellan are cousins, and both of their mothers work within the Grove’s infrastructure. Lola Vaughan is not related to either of them but does appear to be dating one, or both, of the Kavanagh boys. The three bear a striking resemblance to each other with their platinum blonde hair, pale skin, and pale blue eyes. While they have all mastered basic spells and potions and all three bear the mark of inheritance, none of them have gained any true powers as all of their family members are still currently alive.
