Emma Barnes
has always been a bookworm. She was born and raised in Edinburgh, where she spent hours making up stories for her younger sister. Emma’s first writing success came when she won a short story competition – the prize was a pair of shoes. Emma wears the shoes for school visits, where she loves to spark children’s imaginations and create a passion for writing and stories. Emma now lives in Yorkshire with her husband, daughter and Rocky the dog.
