Epilogue

Revolution of Understanding

The world is starting to wake up to what Michael Neill calls “The Inside-out Revolution”.

Since I began writing this book it has become increasingly clear to me what the Three Principles really offer: a revolution of understanding that shatters many of the assumptions we have believed to be true for centuries.

My hope is that this book has been able to reflect the beauty and purity that already exists within each one of us - with all our imperfections. It is humbling but equally awe-inspiring when we begin to discover the infinite creative power that resides within us all.

Yes, I have a learnt a great deal and am immensely grateful for the change I have been gifted. But I have also learnt to be grateful for the not so perfect moments. I am (in case you missed this!) still full of imperfections, and wholly and unapologetically human. It’s simply that I am now more at peace with - and far less interested in - my frailties and shortcomings. What I am deeply curious about is the part of me - the part of all of us - that is whole and perfect already.

Ten years ago, it was this potential that captured my imagination and began my journey of uncovering the common threads we universally share. It is what continues to stir my soul to this day. It is what directs me to the very core of our divine spiritual nature. It is what helps awaken me to the ocean of possibilities within each one of us. It is what gives me hope that we are always no more than a thought away from a fresh experience of life. It is what gives me faith that we are connected, supported and guided by a Mind that has infinite knowledge and wisdom.

Principles - once uncovered and understood - have a momentum of their own. Their implications and evidence are seen everywhere. This helps explain the phenomenal growth and interest in the Three Principles over the course of the last few years.

We no longer believe that the earth is flat. Similarly, an outside-in explanation of experience falls hopelessly short of sound logic and reason. It is time to move forward with a new understanding. It is time to have faith in the exquisite potential of each and every human being; to believe, as Sydney Banks did, that:

“With hope and faith as beacons, anything can happen.”

It is time to learn about the nature and workings of our Exquisite Mind.
