If you don’t know, I love Christmas. Everything about it. The lights. The food and drink. The music. The movies. But most of all, I love the luscious, tingly anticipation that precedes it. It’s delicious. So when I realised I hadn’t written a Christmas novel for five years, I was somewhat aghast. What had I been doing with my time? So I decided to put that right with Christmas In Mistletoe. I hope my mission to put Christmas front and centre has succeeded.
I’ve long wanted to write a book including the music industry too, having worked in it for years. I hope this gives you a taste of that world.
Thanks to Linda Em for being the inspiration behind Ruby after a fantastic gig in a dark jazz club in Soho. Also, huge props to Trevor at Wrentham Christmas Tree Farm for giving up his time to talk me through his job - you were invaluable! Thanks also to Angela for your first read and helpful comments, as well as to my early reading team for their eagle-eyed proofing.
As usual, a tip of the nib to my cohort of talented professionals who make sure my books look and read the best they can. To Rachel Lawson for the ace cover. To Cheyenne Blue for the masterful editing. To Adrian McLaughlin for this typesetting prowess. Hugs also to my wife for reading this in one go on a Sunday. You’re the best!
Last but definitely not least, thanks to you for buying this book and supporting this independent author. I hope this story leaves you wanting a mulled wine and a mince pie, as well as giving you all the Christmas feels. But if you do need more, pick up my other festive novel, All I Want For Christmas.
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and an abundant New Year. See you next year for more gorgeous lesbian romance!
