About the Author

Mari Bolte sat in a saddle for the first time when she was 6 years old. She has ridden at reining, western pleasure, barrel racing, eventing, and dressage barns, and has loved them all. She has written and edited books for kids on every topic imaginable. Her favorite book is any book that gets kids reading! In her spare time, she rescues dogs and cats, drinks too much coffee, and makes sure her horse, Artemis, is as shiny as possible.
