Brandy devotees might recognize the sting in this drink, also known as a Stinger. With a lightly minty, boozy note, it is a perfect drink to freshen up the holidays.
MAKES 1 DRINK
11/2 oz [45 ml] brandy
1/2 oz [15 ml] crème de menthe
Piece of gold leaf, for garnish
Pour the brandy and crème de menthe into an ice-filled shaker. Shake until cold, then strain into a martini glass. Garnish with the gold leaf.
