Snow Day

Fragrant elderflower liqueur gives champagne an extra boost of sophistication in this simple yet elegant drink.

MAKES 1 DRINK

1 Tbsp sugar

3 fresh or frozen and thawed blueberries, for garnish

4 oz [120 ml] champagne

2 oz [60 ml] elderflower liqueur, such as St-Germain

Spread the sugar on a small plate, wet the blueberries with water, and then roll them in the sugar; place on a skewer. Freeze until ready to use.

Pour the champagne and elderflower liqueur into a champagne flute or coupe glass. Garnish with the blueberry skewer.
