Just like its namesake, this comforting drink will make you think of the holidays. Grab a couple of shortbread cookies and sip it by the fire.
MAKES 1 DRINK
1/2 oz [15 ml] crème de cacao
1/2 oz [15 ml] amaretto
6 to 8 oz [180 to 240 ml] hot coffee
2 Tbsp coffee ice cream
Sliced almonds, for garnish
Pour the crème de cacao and amaretto into an Irish coffee glass. Add coffee, leaving 1 in [2.5 cm] of space at the top. Stir until blended. Top with coffee ice cream and sliced almonds.
