The Blitzen

Perfect for sipping after sledding, this decadently creamy drink will warm you up on the coldest of nights.

MAKES 1 DRINK

1 oz [30 ml] Irish cream liqueur

1 oz [30 ml] dark rum

1/2 oz [15 ml] crème de cacao

8 oz [240 ml] hot chocolate

Whipped Cream (page 25), for topping

Cocoa powder, for garnish

Pour the Irish cream liqueur, dark rum, and crème de cacao into an Irish coffee glass. Add hot chocolate, leaving 1 in [2.5 cm] of space at the top. Top with whipped cream and add a dash of cocoa powder.
