EASY STUFFED SHELLS

One day when we had unexpected guests, I just put this recipe together on the spot. It was an immediate hit and is now a family favorite. Let your kids help by placing the meatballs in the shells.

PREP: 20 MIN. BAKE: 40 MIN. MAKES: 12 SERVINGS


1 package (12 ounces) jumbo pasta shells

1 jar (26 ounces) spaghetti sauce

36 frozen fully cooked Italian meatballs (1/2 ounce each), thawed

2 cups (8 ounces) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

1. Preheat oven to 350°. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and rinse in cold water.

2. Place 1/2 cup sauce in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Place a meatball in each shell; transfer to prepared dish. Top with remaining sauce and sprinkle with cheese.

3. Cover and bake for 35 minutes. Uncover; bake 5-10 minutes longer or until bubbly and cheese is melted.
