Composed of three separate garter-stitch strips that are sewn together at the end, this afghan is the ultimate in easy knitting. Each panel is worked in two colors, with the nonworking yarn carried along the side, leaving very few loose ends to weave in later. A doubled-yarn overcast-stitch border lends a refined finish.
