Stripes seem to define summer—from beach accessories like towels, blankets, and umbrellas, to outdoor furnishings like awnings, hammocks, and chair pads. Taking its cue from these summer standards, this afghan is crocheted in a combination of blues, greens, and complementary oranges with the added surprise of a variegated yarn for a pleasing, dappled effect.
