How to make a single serving of guac inside half of an avocado!
Cocktail
Sippin’ on that one bottle of tequila you keep in your fridge.
Ingredients
* avocado
* salsa
* that’s it!
Instructions
This is actually a really great move for the times you find yourself interested in having guacamole, but unable to commit to having an entire batch of guac in your fridge. You know how sometimes it gets all brown and old looking after a couple days? Yeah, nobody wants that. And realistically, you’re not gonna be able to eat that all at once. And right now you don’t want to take the time to dice some onions and let them soak for ten minutes in fresh-squeezed lime juice as the base. That’s my trick. Shh. Don’t tell anybody. Now you know though. But that’s okay, because I trust you. We trust each other.
So, slice an avocado in half using a butter knife. If a butter knife isn’t enough to slice the avocado then DON’T EAT THAT AVOCADO! Many a time people try to make guac with an avocado that is nowhere near maximum ripeness. That’s no bueno.
Now, take the avocado pit and put it in the garbage. Or draw a face on it. Or put it in a jar with water and watch it germinate. Some people use avocado pits as a diuretic in smoothies. Isn’t that disgusting? Humans are weirdos.
Take a spoon and scoop some salsa into the empty space where the pit once was. Now mush it all up within the avocado skin.
Perfect. Amazing. Add a little lime/salt/pepper/chili/whatevz and eat that while standing in the kitchen.
Life Lesson
Sometimes being alone is okay. One time I got lonely and then got drunk and then made a video for the Internet. It didn’t turn out to be so bad.
