Thank you for reading one of our stories in the Wild Sherwood series. We hope you’ve enjoyed dipping into the Robin Hood legends and love the addition of the Faeries to the story.
Edie says~
I’ve always enjoyed the legend of Robin Hood and his Merry Men. As yet, I haven’t been disappointed in any of the versions that I’ve found—although I do have my favorites, including Outlaws of Sherwood by Robin McKinley, the British television series (for which I’ve never managed to see all the episodes), and the Walt Disney animated movie.
M. says~
For the past years I’ve concentrated on mysteries, but fantasy is also a great love. The Robin Hood characters have always interested me, and I was intrigued by the idea of incorporating Faeries, the dangerous ones of early British legend, those who ride the Wild Hunt, not the flower fairies and the sprites. Mixing Faeries with Robin Hood gave inspiration for more stories and novels.
Us again~
For various reasons, we are beginning this Wild Sherwood series with short stories. The world is fun to explore, fun to write, and extra fun to finish.
Watch for the next story in the Outlaws of Wild Sherwood series, five in total.
